Instructions to Apply for Naib Tehsildar jobs

  • Junior and senior clerks with a minimum of three years of experience as regular employees of the Board of Revenue and other offices subordinate to the Board of Revenue can apply. These offices include:
  • Candidates applying for PPSC jobs in 2024, working in provincial government, semi-government, autonomous bodies, federal government, and those connected to local bodies, would not be considered to benefit from age concessions against the time period of their serving in these departments.
  • Candidates with qualifications equivalent to those mentioned in the advertisement are subjected to providing an equivalence certificate issued by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan or a certificate by the Qualifications Equivalence Determination Committee of the concerned department. These certificates may be required to be reproduced by the candidate at the time of the interview or whenever demanded by the competent authority.
  • Candidates applying for PPSC jobs in 2024 claiming experience working in private firms are entitled to provide proof of registration of a private company or firm with the Security and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) or any other regulatory authority. Failing to do this may result in the cancellation of the selection of a candidate for the respective job.
  • Those candidates already serving in any other company, entity, or state department must show proof of applying for a no objection certificate (NOC) at the time of applying for these jobs. Failing, which may cause the cancellation of the selection process.
  • Candidates applying for PPSC jobs in 2024 must provide obtained marks, total marks, and percentage certificates of all the qualifications obtained. CGPA would not be entertained at the time of the interview.
  • A shorthand test, typing test, and proficiency test would be held in Lahore only in case the competent authority felt the need to conduct this test.

Syllabus for written exam:
  • If the written exam is held, the written examination would consist of three papers with a total of 150 marks.
  • Paper 01 (100 marks)
    • This would be a multiple-choice question paper with a duration of 90 minutes. This paper consists of the following:
      • Current Affairs (approximately 70%). This section consists of General Knowledge, Pakistan Studies, Islamic Studies (General Knowledge for Non-Muslim Candidates), Everyday Science, and Basic Knowledge of English and Urdu.
      • Basic Computer Studies (approximately 30%). This section includes MS Office, electronic record-keeping, the Internet, email, etc.
  • Paper 02 (25 marks)
    • English Essay
  • Paper 03 (25 Marks)
    • Urdu Essay
  • Candidates qualifying for written examinations will be called for a psychological assessment and interview.
  • Negative marking would be done for wrong answers. 0.25 marks would be deducted for each wrong answer.
