Procedure to Apply for Police Jobs
- To get a police job, candidates must visit the official website of ETA and make a digital profile there. Before submitting the fee, get a digital token from the ETA website and get your CNIC verified. (Already verified profiles do not need this step.)
- After getting your profile approved, print the deposit slip from the official website of ETA and pay an admission fee of RS 650 through EasyPaisa, Jazz Cash, or the Jazz Cash app or agent. (Remember, this fee is non-refundable.)
- Keep the fee deposit slip along with you because you will be asked to reproduce this slip along with the roll number slip at the time of the written examination.
- All the information regarding the test day, date, and roll number slip would be provided either through SMS or an automated call. Enter a number that is not out of range and for which the network has not been changed as the mobile phone stays out of reach for more than 3 hours. Automated SMS never reaches you.
- After a written exam for police jobs A physical fitness test would be conducted at the ETA head office in Peshawar, where the original document would be verified as well. Candidates would also be required to go through biometric verification.
- Remember, ETA is not the sole authority to decide whether a candidate qualifies or not; the final decision would be made by the department of police, and the police department would conduct a physical fitness test again as well. Candidates involved in fraud would be disqualified, and legal action would be taken against them.

Important Note for Police Jobs
- For female and minority candidates, there are no qualifying marks; all educated candidates are eligible.
- Candidates should not be more than 25 years of age by December 31, 2023, and should not be less than 18 years of age before March 2, 2024.
- There is no relaxation in age, education, or chest for general candidates.
- Any candidate except those from the above-mentioned districts would not be considered eligible.
